Those are the conclusions of the vote and the measures to be taken to implement the community's wishes:

A. CONCERNING THE ASK AND YOU SHALL BE GIVEN SYSTEM

(1) Most users do not like the current Ask and it shall be given system of keeping answered questions and would like a change.

---> Here are the results:

(2) Most users agree that answered questions should be done on the basis of many questions per page.

---> Here are the results:

(3) Most users agree that using prefixes like "Q and A" or "Answered questions per page" is redundant.

---> Here are the results:

(4) Most users agree that the top of an answered question page should not contain any trails or links to an edit or a recent changes.

---> Here are the results:

(5) The users agree that it is up to the person who processes the Q and A to decide where to put the Q and A.

---> Here are the results:

B. CONCLUSIONS RE: THE ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN SYSTEM

We must therefore conclude that most users want:

  • A page containing many answered questions
  • A page with a simple title and no prefix
  • A page to be edited without trails and without a link to its edit and to recent changes.
  • The person who processes the Q and A should decide where the Q and A goes.

Therefore

All the pages created by Peter Newman should be moved to pages whose title won't contain a prefix and there won't be trails nor edit and recent changes.

The work Peter has done is for all practical purposes and with some changes accepted by the community

I will invite Peter Newman and all other people interested to continue the work taking in consideration the wishes of the community.

C. CONCERNING THE OTHER ELEMENTS OF THE SURVEY
