'''TEB''' - 22 Nov 2005: I downloaded Metakit 2.4.9.4 at http://www.equi4.com/pub/mk/metakit-2.4.9.4.tar.gz. After compiling the source on Slackware 10.2, I tried to load Mk4tcl from tclsh (package require Mk4tcl) but got the same error as posted at http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.db.metakit/2122.

If you modify configure and configure.in according to the thread above, Mk4tcl loads without problem. Apparently, the corrected files were not saved or were saved but were later replaced with earlier incorrect versions.
