---- [http://mini.net/pub/nofollow.gif] Creating your own page is easy - the trick is this: Start editing a page and add a reference to the page you want to create: * Read: [How to edit these wiki pages] for information on the first step * Insert at a convenient place the title for your page, surrounded with the [[ and ]] characters. Don't use leading or trailing spaces, and preferably don't use multiple spaces inside the brackets. Also, shorter names are easier for other people to use than longer ones. Finally, once a page title is specified and the rest of these steps are followed, a page in the wiki is reserved ''forever''; so check spelling, grammar, syntax, etc. before saving the modified page. * Save the page. * On the resulting page, you will see the [[ and the ]] (possibly in a different colour). Click on either character and you will be taken to a web form where you can edit the newly created page. * Read [Formatting Rules] for information on how to get nicely formatted text. If you want to start a completely new page, you can go to [New Pages] and create a new title with the above procedure. Otherwise just edit a page that discusses a related subject. If you do ''not'' want to start a new page, but you don't know how to connect your material with the thousands of pages already present, then ... well, what then? Who can articulate what should happen? ---- Other pertinent info for this page can be found here for now: * [Welcome Visitors] * [Wikit user names] - how to make your initials show up on the edit & recent changes ---- Leon [Chat] dialogue: [Dossy]: "the one thing I hate about the wiki: I have NO idea where to start the page." [KBK]: "You can always start a page on '[New Pages]' and let the [wikignomes] weave it in." ---- ---- [[ [Category Tcler's Wiki] ]]
