txt2regex is a regex wizard for the terminal, written in Bash.
Users with little or no knowledge of regular expressions can quickly create hairy regexes by answering questions in a simple text-based interactive interface.
Supported regular expression flavors (on feb 2024) are awk, chicken, ed, egrep, emacs, expect, find, gawk, grep, javascript, lex, mawk, mysql, perl, php, postgres, procmail, python, sed, tcl, vi, and vim.
