An application to allow a user to browse through a collection of objects.

Browsers can be in several different varieties.

1. Smalltalk has an integrated development environment with a class browser.
2. Microsoft Windows with Windows Explorer is one example of a file browser.
3. The Worldwide Web is usually navigated with a web browser, which is an application to view pages delivered by a Webserver. The contents of these pages is usually formatted in HTML.

An example of a web browser is Mozilla.

A Tcl-based web browser is BrowseX.
